Three additional operating keys and five integrated LEDs for status display additionally simplify the handling of the ZD621. Other features of the sustainable desktop printer include an optional battery function, 256 MB SDRAM and 512 MB flash. The movable media sensor ensures high flexibility and enables almost free media selection. Plus, the ZD621's wide range of interfaces makes it easy to integrate and connect with wired or wireless networks. Direct connection to a PC running Windows, Android or iOS is also possible. The interfaces include USB 2.0, a USB host, Ethernet, serial, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and NFC. Optionally available are Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1. The ZD621 is supported by the innovative tools of the Link-OS-based Print DNA Software Suite. These include the PrintSecure security tool and the Printer Profile Manager Enterprise management tool. Via Virtual Devices, printer languages are emulated which are normally associated with other printer brands.
