With the CL-S300 desktop label printer, Citizen releases the typical starter device: affordable, reliable, interesting specifications. It has been conceived for on-demand label printing in goods shipping, item labelling in retail and document marking in the healthcare sector - its compact housing allows for versatile use.
User-friendliness was one of Citizen's main aspects during the development. Integration could hardly be easier, thanks to its USB 2.0 connector, while drivers for Windows operating systems make the CL-S300 a handy out-of-the-box printer. The special Graphical Device Interface (GDI) enables printing out of any Windows application. The maximum print speed of 102 mm per second supports fast task processing. Its standard resolution of 203 dpi (8 dots/mm) ensures for sharp, very high-quality printouts. Citizen's Hi-Open mechanics facilitates handling the CL-S300 even for unpractised users. Maintenance and replacing media become casual day-to-day routine, ensuring smooth operation.The CL-S300 processes 25 to 118 mm wide media and up to a length of 1727 mm. It thus suits a wide range of applications everywhere. It features an integrated media roll holder and a window so that users have a clear view of the remaining label roll. Adjustable media sensors allow for the use of very diverse media.Despite its compact dimensions of 168 x 222 x 178 mm, the power supply unit is integrated in the CL-S300. This removes unnecessary cable tangle from the workplace and ensures an orderly impression - particularly in crowded areas. Thanks to its weight, the PSU gives the CL-S300 a firm stand and prevents it from sliding around on the table. Optionally order the CL-S300 label printer with a peeler, which removes the labels from the liner automatically after printing. This feature helps to save time and further improves workflow.
